1. Our Commitment to Child Safety

PlanFolks maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material ("CSAM"), child sexual exploitation, and any conduct that endangers minors. These Standards apply to all Users, Content, and interactions on the platform and are enforced without exception.

2. Minimum Age Requirement

PlanFolks is intended exclusively for adults. Users must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Service. We do not knowingly permit minors to register or use PlanFolks. Any account found or reported to belong to a minor will be immediately suspended and removed. See also our Privacy Policy regarding children's data.

3. Zero Tolerance for CSAM

PlanFolks strictly prohibits the creation, upload, storage, distribution, or solicitation of CSAM in any form, whether real, computer-generated, or animated. This includes:

  • Images or videos depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
  • Text-based content sexualizing minors.
  • Attempts to solicit, trade, or advertise CSAM through any feature of the Service, including chat.

Any account found to be in violation will be immediately and permanently terminated, all relevant content and account information will be preserved as evidence, and the matter will be reported to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children ("NCMEC") and/or India's National Crime Records Bureau, as applicable, in accordance with our Law Enforcement Guidelines.

4. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to CSAM, the following is strictly prohibited:

  • Any attempt to groom, solicit, or sexually exploit a minor.
  • Sharing content that sexualizes minors, including "age-play" content presenting adults as minors in a sexualized manner.
  • Facilitating contact between adults and minors for an exploitative purpose.
  • Using the Service to identify, locate, or target minors for any harmful purpose.

5. Prevention and Moderation

We employ layered measures to prevent child safety violations, including:

  • Age-gating during account registration.
  • Automated image-hashing technology to detect known CSAM against industry-recognized hash databases.
  • Human moderation review of reported content and accounts.
  • Ongoing evaluation and adoption of industry best practices for child safety, consistent with the Google Play Child Safety Standards and Apple App Store Review Guidelines.

6. User Reporting

Any User who encounters suspected CSAM, child exploitation, or grooming behavior on PlanFolks must report it immediately:

  1. Use the in-app "Report" feature and select the relevant category.
  2. Email support@planfolks.com with full details, including usernames and any evidence.
  3. Do not download, save, forward, or otherwise distribute suspected CSAM, even for reporting purposes — describe the content in your report instead. Distributing such material, even to report it, may itself violate the law.

Reports of this nature are treated with the highest priority and are escalated for immediate review.

7. Law Enforcement Cooperation

PlanFolks cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies investigating child safety violations, including:

  • Responding to valid legal process (subpoenas, court orders, search warrants) seeking account information relevant to a child safety investigation.
  • Voluntarily reporting apparent CSAM to NCMEC's CyberTipline (or equivalent national authority) as required or permitted by law.
  • Preserving relevant account data upon a valid preservation request pending legal process, per our Law Enforcement Guidelines.

8. Standards Alignment

These Standards are designed to align with:

  • Google Play Developer Program Policies on Child Safety.
  • Apple App Store Review Guidelines, including Section 1.2 (User-Generated Content) and child safety requirements.
  • Applicable national laws addressing child sexual abuse material and exploitation.
